Digital Foundry Analyzes Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Technical Aspects

Digital Foundry has given The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom an overall positive technical analysis, finding that the game runs pretty well on the Switch. The game runs at a solid 30fps for almost all of the playtime, with a resolution of 900p in Docked Mode and 720p in handheld mode. The analysis notes that some cutscenes can suffer from "exceptionally poor" video quality during the pre-rendered sequences. The visuals do not quite match up to those that were shown in some of the early trailers, but the tech experts were impressed to see a game of this complexity running on Switch.
