"Diablo IV Unleashes Season of Blood in Sanctuary"

The Diablo IV development team announced that the Season of Blood will begin on October 17, introducing a new questline, vampiric powers, additional endgame bosses, and community-requested quality-of-life updates. Players will face a newly turned army of ravenous vampires who are targeting Sanctuary, and must learn to hunt the hunters. The update will also include more efficient inventory management for gems, carryover of certain upgrades into new seasons, and changes to the functionality of status effects. The trailer introduces Erys, a vampire hunter voiced by Gemma Chan.
