Dauntless Unleashes Major 'Awakening' Update with Steam Debut Next Week

Phoenix Labs is set to release a major update for its free-to-play RPG, Dauntless, on December 5th, called 'Awakening'. This overhaul introduces a new seasonal progression system, a new Behemoth monster, Karkonos, and a new map, Twilight’s Domain. Players can unlock weapons and armor through weekly challenges, with additional rewards available via a paid 'Hunt Pass'. The update also enhances the First-Time User Experience and enables full cross-progression, alongside a Steam launch. These changes aim to revitalize the game, which has been somewhat forgotten since its 2019 release.
