CS2 Takes Inspiration from Valorant with New Features and Confirmed Release Window.

Counter-Strike 2 has introduced a new mini-map feature that shows the radius in which enemy players can hear footsteps, inspired by Valorant. The feature makes it easier for players to conceal their footsteps and is one of several quality-of-life changes in the new game, including 128 tick servers and a new UI that shows kills and aces. The two games have taken inspiration from each other, with Valorant improving on and borrowing heavily from Counter-Strike before Counter-Strike 2 returned the favor.
