Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is closing the gap on Elden Ring’s Game of the Year record, climbing into the 400s with about 411 GOTY wins (as of 2025–2026), and leaving Elden Ring (435 GOTY wins) within striking distance. The indie RPG is also earning nominations and honors for 2026 awards, including the DICE Awards GOTY and BAFTA GOTY longlists, alongside other accolades such as Golden Joystick’s Ultimate Game of the Year and The Game Awards. The game has reportedly sold over six million copies, marking Sandfall Interactive’s debut with a major critical and commercial impact.
