Video game writer Chris Avellone's accusers, Karissa Barrows and Kelly Bristol, have issued a joint statement retracting their previous claims of sexual assault against Avellone on social media and clearing him of any wrongdoing. The settlement between the parties includes a seven-figure payment to Avellone and the return of the attorney fee award entered against him in California. Avellone has been widely blacklisted from the industry after being fired from his job working on Dying Light 2 when the accusations came to light.
