CD Projekt Red had its second-best year ever in 2022, with $222 million in revenue and $80 million in net profit, largely due to renewed sales of Cyberpunk 2077, driven by the premiere of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Netflix anime. CDPR CEO sees the success of Edgerunners as proof that more spinoffs and experiments with different forms of media are the right path going forward. CDPR's next big project is the next/current-gen-exclusive Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty story expansion, set to release in 2023.
