Bytten Studio's Cassette Beasts, a creature-collecting RPG with over 120 different monsters that can combine with each other to create a powerful fusion, is set to launch on Nintendo Switch on May 25. The game draws inspiration from Pokémon and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, but aims to differentiate itself by appealing to slightly older players with a more mature storyline and characters. The game also offers custom game modes and settings, including a hardcore 'Nuzlocke' mode, and emphasises mastering the battle system to access late-game areas early.
