Flesh and Blood's latest expansion, Heavy Hitters, introduces a new hero named Betsy, a pit fighter in Rathe's Death Match Arena. Betsy embodies the theme of the set, with a signature mechanic called wager that encourages players to bet against their opponents for more rewarding combat encounters. The wager mechanic functions as a high-risk, high-reward minigame, making attacks stronger when a wager is made. The expansion will feature Betsy's hero cards printed with the Marvel treatment, and preview season begins on January 17, 2024, with the set's official release on February 2, 2024.
