Atari Unveils Berzerk: Recharged, Reviving a Classic Since the 1980s

Atari has announced Berzerk: Recharged, the first Berzerk game since the 1980s, as part of its Recharged lineup. The game features updated graphics, twin-stick controls, and a new soundtrack by Megan McDuffee. Players navigate through random rooms in electrified mazes, facing off against enemy robots with changing color schemes. Utilizing weapon modifiers and other power-ups, players must survive and climb the leaderboard. Atari has also revealed Berzerk: Enhanced Edition, launching alongside the new Atari 2600+ console. Berzerk: Recharged will be available on various platforms later this year.
