Assetto Corsa Competizione's upcoming version 1.9 update will introduce changes to suspension components, including a new bump stop system that limits compression travel to 20-30mm, forcing drivers to use a set-up with stiffer springs and rebounds. Dampers have also been tweaked to work differently when changing slow speed damper stiffness, resulting in different car behavior over kerbs, bumps, and undulations. Force feedback has been adjusted to match suspension and tyre physics changes. The end goal is to make cars travel over kerbs in a more pliant fashion, avoiding aggressive bouncing out of control.
