The release of Ark: Survival Ascended, the remaster of Survival Evolved, has been delayed to October as an early access launch. The game's price has been changed again, now set at $45 with a temporary launch discount of $40. The developer, Studio Wildcard, cited challenges with Unreal Engine 5.2 and the need for more time to support cross-platform modding as reasons for the delay. The reduced price is due to the game not being able to deliver as much content as planned. The Scorched Earth expansion will arrive in December, while Ragnarok and Aberration are scheduled for 2024. Servers for Survival Evolved will go offline on September 30. The game will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
