Ark 2 Delay Causes Shutdown of Survival Evolved Servers and Remaster Release.

Studio Wildcard has delayed the release of Ark 2 until the end of 2024, citing the need for more time to work with Unreal Engine 5. In the meantime, a remaster of the first game, Ark: Survival Evolved, will be released by the end of August 2023. However, the game's official servers will be shut down later this year, with support only for critical bug fixes. The move has angered some players, who will have to re-host their own servers or play in singleplayer/non-dedi mode. Two paid expansion packs have also been announced.
