"Alan Wake II set to release on multiple platforms in October"

Control studio Remedy Entertainment announced the release of Alan Wake 2 on October 17, 2023, for PC (exclusive to the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game features FBI agent Saga Anderson as a second playable character investigating the murder of a fellow agent, Robert Nightingale, in Bright Falls, Washington, leading her to Alan Wake. The game promises impressive ray tracing, storylines that make you question what a story really is, and novel gameplay conceits. Other notable games announced during the PlayStation Showcase include Spider-Man 2, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Final Fantasy XVI, Assassin's Creed Mirage, and The Talos Principle 2.
