War-torn Ukraine inspires video game creation.

Ukrainian video game studio Frogwares has used its platform to share information about living and working during the ongoing war in Ukraine. The Kyiv-based studio will release the detective adventure game "Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened" on April 11, which was developed entirely during the war. The game is a remake of their 2007 title and was created in just one year. The war has had an enormous influence on the developers and the game, which is partly inspired by HP Lovecraft's universe. Despite the war, Ukraine's tech industry is booming, with more than 250,000 people working in IT and tech before the Russian invasion in February 2022.
