Rockstar Games Co-Founder Dan Houser Launches New Studio, Absurd Ventures.

Dan Houser, co-founder of Rockstar Games and co-creator of Grand Theft Auto, has announced the formation of a new narrative studio called Absurd Ventures. The studio will create new intellectual property across all platforms and formats, including live-action and animation, video games, books, graphic novels, and scripted podcasts. The studio's tagline is "Storytelling. Philanthropy. Ultraviolence." Houser left Rockstar in 2020 after an extended break following the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2.
