Nightlife moguls Darren Dzienciol and Richie Akiva split, host rival A-list parties.

New York City nightlife moguls Richie Akiva and Darren Dzienciol have split after throwing rival A-list parties at the Cannes Film Festival. The former business partners, who opened 10ak in Los Angeles together in 2014, had previously thrown famed parties for events such as the Oscars and the amfAR gala. The split turned ugly when Dzienciol posted a conspicuous Instagram slide saying, “Out with the old, in with the new.” Akiva's party was attended by Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Orlando Bloom, Halsey, Queen Latifah, and numerous models, while Dzienciol's party drew Kate Beckinsale, Adam Lambert, and others.
