Jack Black suggests Pedro Pascal as Wario in Super Mario Bros. sequel.

Jack Black, who played Bowser in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, suggested that Pedro Pascal should join the cast in a potential sequel as Wario. Black also stated that it's not a given that Bowser will return for the sequel and that he may need to be turned to help Mario and the rest to defend against some other unseen force of evil. The Super Mario Bros. Movie has received positive reviews, and early box office predictions and a post-credits scene hint that this won't be the last we see of this bunch.
