Campagnolo's Hyperon Wheels: Lightweight Performance at a High Cost

Campagnolo has launched the Hyperon Ultra, a new lightweight wheelset that weighs just 1,240g. The wheelset features Campagnolo’s H.U.L.C. (Handmade Ultra-Light Carbon) layup and C-LUX finish, with both technologies first introduced on the Bora Ultra WTO and Levante wheelsets. The Hyperon Ultra is Campagnolo’s first rim to be manufactured with one join, compared to the industry standard of four. The wheelset is available in both tubeless and tubular versions, with prices starting at £3,150.
