"Two Apple Stores in U.S. Shut Down Permanently: Here's Why"

Apple is permanently closing its Infinite Loop and Royal Hawaiian retail stores in the U.S. today, with all employees being given the opportunity to remain with the company. The Infinite Loop store, which served as Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California, became redundant after the opening of Apple Park Visitor Center in 2017. The Royal Hawaiian store in Honolulu will also close after over 15 years of operations. Apple operates 271 other retail stores across the U.S. and opened a new store in Seoul, South Korea.
