Twitch increases Turbo subscription price for ad-free experience.

Twitch is increasing the monthly price of Twitch Turbo, its subscription service that removes most ads and offers additional emoticons, from $8.99 to $11.99 in the US and other countries. Current subscribers will have their current rates locked in for three additional months, and they’ll have to choose to opt in to the new prices. The price hike has caused complaints from many subscribers, but Twitch has promised future improvements to the service.
