Microsoft's Xbox-Activision merger faces legal hurdles in UK and Europe.

Microsoft has filed an appeal against the UK's Competition and Markets Authority's decision to block its $69 billion takeover of Activision Blizzard, citing concerns over competition in the cloud gaming market. The EU approved the deal earlier this month after Microsoft proposed remedies, but the UK regulator vetoed it in April. Microsoft has also appealed the US Federal Trade Commission's decision to block the deal. The appeal to the Competition Appeal Tribunal is not an opportunity for Microsoft to submit new remedies.
