CBS considers selling NYC studio amid cord-cutting trend.

CBS is reportedly considering selling its 600,000 square-foot broadcast center on West 57th Street in Manhattan and seeking a new location for its broadcast home. The network may not need as much space as it currently has, but a relocation of any size would mark the end of an era for the network and the far West Side. CBS has considered selling the property several times before and after its merger with Viacom in 2019. The network may seek a single landlord to both buy the 57th Street enclave and lease or sell space it owns elsewhere to CBS for its production needs.
