Car dealer and Mercedes enthusiast Stathios Georgopoulos, along with mechanic Maciej Bakowski, have developed a conversion kit to transform a '90s Mercedes SL600 from automatic to manual transmission. The conversion, priced at $30,000, took eight months of research and development and includes using stock ECUs, a ZF GS6 gearbox, a custom clutch and flywheel, and a custom driveshaft. The goal was to create a factory-like driving experience, and the result is a manual V12 convertible that sounds like a Pagani for $60,000.
