John Ficarra has acquired Rocky Aoki's Porsche 959 limo, originally built for the Car and Driver One Lap of America, and is planning to restore it. The car, a stretched 911 Targa with a 959-aping body kit and custom white leather interior, was built for the 1991 event and ran in a Kirin Beer livery. Ficarra aims to bring the car back to its former glory with turbocharged power, reinforced chassis, and the original livery and interior. This unique piece of Porsche history deserves to be preserved and driven, and Ficarra is determined to make it happen.
