Rare and Unique Ford Mustangs Up for Auction, Including a McLaren and a Count's Kustoms Modified Model.

A rare 1980 M81 McLaren Mustang prototype, one of only 10 ever built, is going up for auction at Mecum's Indy Auction in May. The car features a Bittersweet Orange and Gray exterior, black Recaro seats, and a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine producing 175 hp. With only 556 miles on the odometer, the car is expected to fetch between $75,000 and $100,000. The prototype comes with a handful of extras, including an original McLaren dealer poster and the original Firestone HPR radial tires.
