The Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution has set a new track record at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, beating the previous record holder, the Czinger 21C, by 0.43 seconds with a lap time of 2:10.90 seconds. The hypercar, driven by former Le Mans class winner David Donohue, reached speeds of 193 mph and experienced high lateral forces during cornering. The Revolution model features chassis and aero tweaks for improved track performance, and Hennessey is aiming to push the F5 beyond 300 mph later this year.
