2026 Shelby Super Snake: 830 HP at $175,885 with Optional Whipple Boost

Shelby American unwrapped the 2026 Shelby Super Snake (non-R) at a starting price of $175,885, making 830 hp when equipped with the optional Whipple supercharger on the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 and running on 93-octane; without the blower it would be 480 hp like the Mustang GT. The car adds a widebody with carbon-fiber aero, upgraded cooling, brakes, and suspension, plus 20-inch magnesium wheels, and is offered in coupe or convertible with a six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic. Only 300 units are planned for 2026, each serialized in the Shelby Registry. The Super Snake R remains more powerful and pricier, while this version undercuts the Mustang GTD on power-per-dollar.
