Google has unveiled Duet AI, a collection of AI tools across its Workspace apps, including Gmail, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Meet, and Google Docs. The generative AI features include drafting full replies to emails, generating images for presentations, understanding the context of data in spreadsheets, generating custom background images for video calls, and providing real-time code assistance. Duet AI also adds a set of machine learning-powered Google Cloud developer tools and new foundation models for AI developers to play with. Users can sign up for a waitlist to try the new features.
