Baseball player killed by unapproved dugout in Pennsylvania.

Angel Mercado, a 19-year-old college baseball player, died after being struck in the face by a makeshift dugout he was helping to dismantle in a park in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The dugout was built by his coach for a summer recreation league, but city officials had deemed it unapproved. Mercado suffered a traumatic head injury and died in the hospital the following day. The Cumberland County coroner’s office ruled the death an accident.
