Ex-NFL Player Cameron Sutton Surrenders to Police After Evading Law Enforcement

Former NFL defensive back Cameron Sutton turned himself in to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Tampa, Florida, after weeks of evading law enforcement for a domestic violence warrant. The 29-year-old was wanted for domestic battery by strangulation, a third-degree felony, and was released by the Detroit Lions after news of the warrant surfaced. Sutton, who had signed a $33 million, three-year contract with the Lions a year ago, started in all 17 regular season games and helped the franchise win a division title for the first time in three decades.
