USMNT's Ferreira Makes History with Hat Tricks, Trinidad & Tobago Defeat

Jesus Ferreira made history by scoring back-to-back hat tricks for the United States men's national team in international competition. The first three goals were scored against St. Kitts and Nevis, followed by three more against Trinidad and Tobago in the Gold Cup. Ferreira is now the second player in USMNT history to have three career hat tricks and the only player with multiple career Gold Cup hat tricks. The U.S. won its group on goal difference and will await the results from Group D to determine its quarterfinal opponent.
