Texas Rangers Reveal Nike City Connect Jerseys for Metroplex

The Texas Rangers have unveiled their City Connect uniforms, which pay homage to the rich baseball history of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The uniforms feature a mythical creature called the "Peagle," which represents two Minor League teams that existed before the Rangers' arrival in 1972. The design also includes nods to the Dallas-Fort Worth Spurs and the Fort Worth Panthers, as well as a gothic TX typography with a spur through it. The numbers 4-21 are embroidered into the side of the hats and on the inside of the jerseys, representing the anniversary of the Rangers' first game in Arlington and the final battle of the Texas Revolution. The City Connect collection is now available for purchase and will debut on the field on Friday.
