Teen Tennis Prodigy Andreeva Shines at Wimbledon, Advances to Third Round

16-year-old qualifier Mirra Andreeva advances to the third round of Wimbledon after No.10 seed Barbora Krejcikova retires due to a left leg injury. Andreeva, who has reached the third round in both of her main tour Grand Slam appearances, was leading 6-3, 4-0 when Krejcikova withdrew. This makes Andreeva the third-youngest player in the Open Era to reach the third round of Wimbledon as a qualifier. Andreeva will face either Anastasia Potapova or Kaja Juvan in the next round.
