Seahawks bolster defense with signings of Devin Bush Jr. and Julian Love.

The Seattle Seahawks signed inside linebacker Devin Bush Jr. in the first week of NFL free agency to address their lack of depth at the position. Former NFL quarterback Brock Huard, who had Bush in college, described him as a fast and dynamic player who is similar in size and style to Jordyn Brooks. Bush was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019 but suffered a knee injury in 2020 that affected his athleticism. The Seahawks signed Bush because they want runners and hitters at the second level to cover guys up front and bring violence to their defense.
