Revived Arena Football League Expands to New Cities

Tallahassee has been selected as one of the 16 cities to participate in the relaunch of the Arena Football League (AFL) in 2024. The AFL, under new ownership by F1 Sports & Entertainment, plans to resume operations in April 2024 with 10 regular season games and postseason play. The league aims to incorporate modern-day business components such as streaming, betting, technology, virtual reality, and fan engagement. The AFL, known for its fast-paced nature and smaller fields, offers players an opportunity to showcase their skills and continue their playing careers during the NFL offseason.
