Panthers add Ole Miss WR Jonathan Mingo to their roster in 2023 NFL Draft.

The Carolina Panthers selected Ole Miss wide receiver Jonathan Mingo with the 39th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft to give their first overall pick, quarterback Bryce Young, a new target. Mingo is a big target who posted impressive numbers in his senior year at Ole Miss and is expected to develop into a go-to receiver for Young. He joins a receiver room headlined by veteran free agent acquisitions Adam Thielen and D.J. Chark, and will be the Panthers' first crack at finding a replacement for D.J. Moore, who was traded to the Chicago Bears.
