However, the Orioles showed mental toughness and regained the lead in the eighth inning with a two-run single from Ramón Urías. Urías also hit a two-run double in the ninth inning, making him the first Oriole since 2018 to drive in four runs off the bench. The Orioles' closer, Félix Bautista, struggled in the ninth inning but managed to strike out the final two batters to secure the win.
