New Jersey Devils Replace Lindy Ruff with Travis Green

The struggling New Jersey Devils have fired coach Lindy Ruff and promoted Travis Green, an assistant and former Vancouver Canucks coach, to interim coach. General manager Tom Fitzgerald cited the team's lack of competitiveness as the reason for the change. Ruff, who had a multiyear extension, leaves with a 128-125-28 record over three-plus seasons.
