NASCAR's weekend at Watkins Glen International kicks off with the ARCA Menards Series race and Xfinity Series technical inspection on Friday. Kyle Larson, the defending winner, will look to repeat his success from last season when he swept the Xfinity and Cup races at the road course. The Xfinity Series has seen winners not running full-time in Xfinity in 23 out of 28 races at Watkins Glen. Dale Earnhardt Jr. remains the only driver to win both the Xfinity race and championship in the same season. The ARCA Menards Series has competed at Watkins Glen three times, with Corey Heim and Brandon Jones among the past winners. Corey LaJoie, a full-time Cup Series driver, will make his first start in the ARCA Menards Series since 2013.
