"Michigan DL Coach Greg Scruggs Resigns Following OWI Arrest"

Michigan's defensive line coach Greg Scruggs resigned from his position after being arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated in Ann Arbor. Scruggs, who had been hired by Michigan just five days prior to the incident, was stopped by police after his car was found stopped in an intersection with hazard lights on. He registered blood-alcohol levels of .16 and .17, double the legal limit in Michigan, and was subsequently suspended by the program. Wolverines coach Sherrone Moore stated that Scruggs had made "an unfortunate mistake" and had taken accountability for his actions.
