Mets' Syndergaard lands on IL following tough performance.

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Noah Syndergaard has been placed on the 15-day injured list due to a blister on his right index finger. Syndergaard's ERA has ballooned to 7.16 after giving up six runs and seven hits in three innings during Wednesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. The Dodgers have recalled right-hander Tayler Scott from Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move.
