Jeffery Simmons signs four-year, $94M extension with Titans.

Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons has agreed in principle to a four-year contract extension, according to ESPN. Simmons, a first-round pick in 2019, was set to make $10.753 million on the fifth-year option of his rookie contract. He has made the Pro Bowl in each of the past two seasons and has become one of the league's top interior defensive linemen, with 189 tackles, 21 sacks, 46 quarterback hits, two forced fumbles, and 19 passes defensed in his four-year career.
