Hamilton dominates FP2 before rain interrupts Canadian GP practice.

Lewis Hamilton led a Mercedes 1-2 in the second practice session of the F1 Canadian GP before rain hit the circuit. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz found pace on their soft-tyre running, with Sainz filing a 1m13.844s to collect top spot. Rain did not quite arrive as expected, but the wind and falling track temperatures provoked more mistakes from the drivers. Hamilton's time stood strong over George Russell's, as Sainz completed the top three over countryman Fernando Alonso, who had split the Ferraris following the Esteban Ocon red flag.
