Gymnastics Teams Compete in NCAA Championships, LSU and Illini Athletes Crowned National Champions.

The LSU Tigers finished fourth in the NCAA women's gymnastics championships after a solid but not extraordinary performance. Reigning champion and No. 1 Oklahoma won the national championship, followed by No. 2 Florida and No. 5 Utah. LSU was without several key players due to injuries. Haleigh Bryant of LSU put up the best all-around score, but did not win the individual national title. Despite the loss, LSU coach Jay Clark called the Tigers’ season one of the two most rewarding in his 33-year career.
