Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong and actor Tom Hanks have joined the "reverse boycott" to prevent the Oakland Athletics from moving to Las Vegas. Armstrong showed up at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum to support the boycott, while Hanks expressed his frustration at the possibility of losing the team. Despite the boycott, a stadium financing bill aimed at drawing the Athletics to Las Vegas was approved by the Nevada Senate and will head to the Assembly.
