Dwayne Haskins' Family and Widow Allege Targeted Blackmail and Robbery Conspiracy Leading to QB's Death

The family of former NFL quarterback Dwayne Haskins has filed a lawsuit alleging that he was the target of a "blackmail and robbery conspiracy" that led to his death in April 2022. The suit names several defendants, including the Boca Raton Hotel Group, Drive Shack Palm Beach, Blue Anchor Pub, and E11Even Miami, as well as four individuals who allegedly drugged Haskins. The suit also alleges negligence by the Florida Department of Transportation and an unnamed contractor, as well as the owner of the dump truck that hit Haskins and the owner of the rental car he was driving. Haskins played for Washington and the Pittsburgh Steelers during his brief NFL career.
