Dodgers defeat D-backs with strong start from Bumgarner.

Madison Bumgarner struggled in the first inning, allowing five runs, and despite settling down, the Arizona Diamondbacks couldn't overcome the deficit, losing 10-1 to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Christian Walker hit a solo home run for the D-backs' only run. Clayton Kershaw struck out nine batters over six innings for the Dodgers. The two teams will play again on Sunday.
