Chris Getz appointed as White Sox senior VP and GM

The Chicago White Sox have promoted Chris Getz to the position of senior vice president and general manager. Getz, who has been with the organization for several years, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role. He previously served as the assistant general manager/player development for minor league operations and has a background in player development with the Kansas City Royals. The promotion comes after the firing of General Manager Rick Hahn and Executive Vice President Kenny Williams.
