Cameraman Injured by Errant Throw at Yankees-Orioles Game

A YES Network cameraman, Pete Stendel, was hit in the head by an errant throw during the Yankees-Orioles game at Yankee Stadium. Play was stopped as medical staff attended to Stendel, who was conscious and talking. He was carted off the field on a stretcher, raising a peace sign to the crowd. The incident occurred when the throw from Orioles shortstop Gunnar Henderson hit Stendel as he was peering into his camera. Play eventually resumed.
